You might think a guy slipping in the polls would pull out all the stops and demonstrate all this energy he keeps telling us he has. But no. Kamala Harris is hitting seven swing states over five days while Donald Trump has just a single campaign event on the calendar for the week in Montana.

Even with his delusional grandiosity, he cannot deny there are no crowds to wave to, his VP nominee is such a drag on a ticket he had to try to explain that vice presidents are not important, his Project 2025 Cliff's Notes for governing are catastrophically unpopular and his word salad is increasingly weird. None of the former GOP Presidents has endorsed him. Dozens of his former staff and appointees are refusing to endorse him. Republicans are pledging their support to Kamala Harris.
