@jamesh Interestingly, geoffclare ultimately set fork to keep all fds except ones with FD_CLOFORK but also set posix_spawn to throw away ones with FD_CLOFORK or O_CLOEXEC.

Anyway I think @ariadne should file a bug, TCs are a thing on POSIX side of things (POSIX.1-2017 was even a release of one as it's otherwise POSIX.1-2008) and I think most implementers would also acknowledge tickets which got Accepted.
