The New Yorker's Clare Malone did a lot of solid reporting for her story on RFK Jr., and the bear story is only a minor element. But she did her readers a disservice by quoting an anonymous source describing RFK Jr's litany of dangerous lies about vaccines and autism as "persuasive and nimble," while calling his disinformation "errors," as if they were careless oversights.
