A salvo. Maybe mastodon.social shouldn't be the standard for both rules and moderation praxis. Their moderation team is known for protecting nazionalist fascist fringe-right-wing speech, while punishing anyone who disagrees or dares to oppose it. We shouldn't use mastodon.social as anything but an example f what NOT to do in regard to moderation; they are well en route to become xitter-in-fediverse. All caveats apply, AYBABTU, NGGYUNGLYD.
Rule should be clear in that content should be attributed as possible; there is plenty of content, namely older material from Web1.0 that is very hard/near impossible to attribute. And, yes, I have seen that abused as excuse to punish people, elsewhere (ahem, see above).
