Can’t say A.I. is a bubble.
This is not because it isn’t a bubble but because I can’t be so presumptuous in saying what tech is or is not viable.
Nevertheless, at a certain point, investors are starting to say, “How are we going to make money off of this?”
Companies like Microsoft can afford to invest millions into R&D that isn’t a feasible product for another 20 years. In fact, they do this all the time.
But the stock market doesn’t run on far off promises. It runs on sentiment. And for the past year, the sentiment is that A.I. will be bigger than search engines.
Again, I’m not saying this is the case, just what people who are “all in” on A.I. believe.
I can say this much, though. Since Microsoft’s value is largely about them being the market leader in A.I., if investors don’t see mega growth soon, they’re going to need something else to justify Microsoft’s share price.
