    The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has ruled that Amazon is responsible for recalling dangerous products sold by third parties on its platform. More than 400,000 of such products have been recalled, including faulty carbon monoxide detectors, hairdryers without electrocution protection, and kids' sleepwear that violates flammability standards.
