esmevane, sorry@ben It would be such a huge lift for a government to adopt Mastodon, because of all the regulations they need to observe, but honestly I think it would be a net gain regardless. It would formalize so much about the social web protocols, and necessitate/create a lot of much needed feature work for Mastodon specifically.
