I can understand why, if you meet monetization goals and are making money on #YouTube, why you'd not want to dilute your viewership with another platform like #PeerTube if earning is your goal.

But until or unless you get monetized (which isn't easy), I can't understand why you wouldn't *also* post on an ad free platform like PeerTube to promote yourself, at least until you start making money. Until then, your viewers are only making money for YouTube and enduring ads in order to watch.
