One thing I've learned from being on Mastodon is that a lot of people were permanently traumatized by being introduced to topics in elementary school that they didn't personally excel at, and because they chose careers that do not require that thing in daily practice for money, no child should ever be given any kind of introduction to it, because it is obviously torture and irrelevant to all human life. (Please rethink the imagery of "forcing down children's throats.")
