Probably because they have great weird characters living through weird stories using weird combinations of items to solve really weird riddles and all that with fantastic humour. I guess, these things age a lot better than games that are really dependend on fancy graphics and stuff.
I just love those old games (partly this will be because I loved them, when I was young.)
