    @youronlyone I personally just say “Philippine time” to avoid all ambiguity, if that’s important. Or, actually, because that’s too long, I use “Manila time” or even “MNL”. (Sorry for not helping beat the ‘imperial Manila’ allegations.)

    I wish though we could just normalize UTC offsets. I'd use “UTC+8” all the time if only that were widely understood. ISO-8601 FTW 😅
