Lucie Castets (born 1987 in Caen), is a French civil servant, nominated in 2024 by the New Popular Front for the position of Prime Minister of France.
Castets first went to the Lycée Louis-le-Grand before studying political economy and public law at Sciences Po and the London School of Economics, and graduated from the École nationale d'administration in 2013.
She held positions at the Direction générale du Trésor and at the French financial intelligence agency Tracfin. In 2020, she was appointed a finance counselor to the government of the city of Paris, and since 2023, she serves as the city's director of financing and purchasing.
She is the co-founder and spokesperson of the collective "Nos services publics", an association of civil servants whose aim it is to strengthen the French civil service. Castets is also an associate professor at Paris Dauphine.
In November 2022, Castets' criticism of President Emmanuel Macron's administration's use of consulting firms during a televised debate with Stanislas Guerini brought her to public attention.
