Think of it as getting shot in the tire forcing you to slam on your brakes because you're about to run over a minefield without realizing it. In this case, the minefield is pseudo-Arianism. I know it's probably not your intention, but the idea that Christ could be so full of our sin that God wouldn't look at him almost denies His divinity. Unfortunately this is a commonly stayed explanation for why Christ was quoting psalm 22 on the cross, so when I see it I point this out.
