@mangeurdenuage @mcsinyx The "Linux Foundation" does a pretty good job at matching what many people in the movement that sees themselves as "Linux Users" do.

While insisting that GNU isn't a thing or is merely GNU coreutils, or merely a set of tools, they run macOS and only actually use Linux as part of systemd/Linux in a VM, gleefully run a bunch of proprietary software in that VM as well.
