I have stayed quiet about the attempted assassination of Donald Trump because I didn't want to post a kneejerk reaction.

I have seen lots of "damn, he missed", "couldn't happen to a nicer guy", and "he deserves it" responses from my side of the aisle and I am disgusted.

I have seen lots of "Biden did it", "Must have been a lefty", and "They want Trump dead so elect him" crap from the other side too. Equally disgusting.

Political violence is unacceptable. Period.
