I loved his music & lyrics, he was fantastic live. And I acknowledge that he had many insightful things to say... but I also think we, as a species overall, have learned (or acknowledged/accepted) a helluva lot of things that were still hidden, denied, accepted or encouraged in the 60's. I only really began to realize what my childhood had done to me when I was in my 30's. But wherever we find our gurus, we're lucky we did.
