    as long as I'm doing this, I should probably do it properly. In software, going from 0 -> 1 is usually super easy, and from 1 -> N is usually super hard. Just starting at N tends to give better solutions and be easier in the long run.

    So, other than mastodon, what's a good dev target for interoperability? Maybe gotosocial? A forkey? Something-oma?
