    So, I've been seeing something strange from new users lately...

    Does Mastodon now encourage new users to make a post that links to their profile?🤨

    If so, why the heck would it do that? If the post is seen, people can just click their profile...

    I ask because there's been dozens of people with the same format, linking to their own profile like it's going to help them get more eyes somehow.😳
