    The reason for obfuscating the right to self-determination is that Israel is constantly in violation, on thousands of grounds, of Palestine's right to self-determination.

    This is on top of their illegal occupation of Palestine; which moots the other, oft quoted, "Israel has a right to self-defence".

    Not as an occupier. No occupier has a "right to self-defence".

    Just ask the US in Iraq.
