ChristopherSince I’m on the subject of musicians named after films Xiu Xiu is name after “Xiu Xiu The Sent Down Girl” which is available with subs on YT. I saw this film one night while killing time at the Ritz at the Bourse in Philly while waiting for my then girlfriend to come in via the other side of the state on Greyhound. I can’t see the name without that memory coming back to me.
