Remember how Newsgroups have been taken over by forums since around the end of the previous millenium, and Newsgroups ended up being almost exclusively for pirates from that point?
Remember how forums have been taken over by Discucked chat rooms (don't call them servers, because they're not servers!) since 2015.

Did you know that in that same 2015, the western half of the Nintendo dev community switched from Newsgroups to a forum, making them perhaps the last non-pirates to have used Newsgroups?
My expection is that Nintendo will set up a Discucked chat room somewhere in 2030 while the rest of the world is in the process of switching from Discucked to a holographic communication device or some shit.
