I mean, they already killed off the movies, the manga is quite literally a joke, the anime seems to be coming to an end too now, so all they have left to destroy are the gaymes and TCG.

Though honestly, even if they'd make it look good, they could as well have added in things like microtransactions and lootboxes, that alone would have been enough to destroy it all.
