excluding trans people from your project is a loss to your project. there are great developers who are trans, and allowing your disgusting prejudice to guide your decisions tells me a lot more about your capabilities than about theirs.
but there's more: they have exactly the same baseline right to exist and to be themselves as you. and as long as they don't engage in similar behaviors to your wishing them not to exist, I'd much rather be in their company than in yours.
now, do I wish you were different? guilty as charged, I do wish you weren't so hateful. as much as I reproach your disgusting prejudicial hatred, I struggle to, and hopefully succeed in, not reciprocating your hateful behaviors, because I don't wish to become a monster, and I hope nobody else becomes a monster in response to your behavior.
