#WordWeavers Day 19: Do you write sympathetic antagonists?
I'm trying to walk a tightrope that I suppose could be called quasi- or "somewhat sympathetic": sympathetic enough for readers to understand why they're doing what they're doing, and to even feel like, "Hey, if I weren't careful, I could make the same kinds of mistakes (so how about if I make sure not to do that)", but not so much that readers will think they were actually right.
This answer is pretty good, too: https://hcommons.social/@joyce/111607133130434652
