When I moved to America, it took me a little while to understand that xxxx fag is some kind of slur (like "anime fag"), because I was used to "something fag" meaning that someone eats something. So I eat anime metaphorically, you see. Imagine my surprise when I found that I was not entirely wrong but the old timey fag suffix has a special spelling: phage!
