I once tried to play final fantasy ix or x, can't recall which. I watched the whole intro (couldn't skip) and then about an half an hour plus in finally got to play. I got killed before any save point, i.e. I had to start over. The original Halo's intro was equally as long, but with a tutorial. When I started seeing the unskippable intros and tutorials in nearly every game, that's when I said "fuck this shit," and knew that the future of gaming would suck.
