#Celtic #FolkyFriday: „Celebrations took place on the 23rd of June, midsummer's eve, halfway through the year and two days after the summer solstice. It was called St John's eve festival. Great fires were lit by the oldest person present exactly at sundown, while the youngest there would throw in a bone, and they were tended until midnight, or in some places until dawn.“
