@TerminalAutism @ryo It didn't have to be like this, the franchise is piss easy to manage while printing money. All TPC needed to do was make sure Gamefreak didn't half-ass mainline, manage the power creep in TCG, not drive the anime into the ground and licence Pokémon out to competent devs for side games to fill release gaps. It worked out well for them before, Hell side games like Pokémon Mystery Dungeon are considered some of the best games in the series period.
