I wonder how well Blazing Saddles holds up. I've not seen it in lots of years. Is it a warm-hearted lampooning of racist culture told in an old Western setting. Or..... is it absolutely fucking awful? I think this is a genuine question and I'd quite like to know. I'd hate to do a re-run if it'll make me cringe inside out. But from the Gene Wilder documentary it seems lovely and life-affirming.
