@evan Removing what someone wrote on a “public blackboard” is maybe not a good idea. But breaking the link to their reply off of a post that *you made seems fine. Why should they have the right to hang off “your” spot in the world without limits? And it may be best to have the OP have that authority. They own the original post; why not the meta data of the hierarchy below it? Maybe trimming that graph edge would make the unwanted reply go hang on the replier’s timeline, orphaned.
