If the point is to increase stock prices and make fistfuls of filthy lucre, why not cut out the middle steps and skip straight to being a weapons contractor or an oil company? Given your model, nothing beats arms sales/gasoline - why have any other businesses at all? Other options - murder for hire, bank robbery, cocaine trafficking...
