@Impossible_PhD I find this fascinating in looking at puberty as "nonconsensual sex change" and putting all choices regarding puberty, including choosing the endogenous one, on a neutral and equal footing.

In part, it's because it really makes me recollect on how much of my teen years I actually spent thinking that perhaps I'd dodged several bullets in puberty...that a not-man-not-woman was going to emerge out of luck. It didn't, but it could have been worse, and at least now I can fix that.
