To reset my situation, for those just tuning in:

I have a chronic medical condition that prevents me from seeking work, per orders from my doctor.

I am currently applying for SSDI benefits to hold me over until 2026 when I should be eligible for Medicare and Social Security.

My long-term disability benefits from my last job were cut off in January, and my appeals were rejected in May.

Crowdfunding is my only source of income. I have nothing else.
