As Microsoft, Apple, and Google relentlessly enshittify their operating systems and applications with "AI" -- totally indifferent to the legitimate worries of customers -- they're giving the biggest boost ever to Linux on the desktop.

That's the only good news.

Unfortunately -- and this is a huge problem -- there is no equivalent when it comes to mobile devices. The Apple/Google duopoly is fully entrenched, and the alternatives are minnows in a Big Tech ocean.

How can we fix this?
