Joe Cooper 🇺🇦@tokyo_0 I mean, it's always gonna be a pain in the ass somewhere. Software is hard, and most of the time is spent learning, no matter what path you take. There are plenty of smart people using React, Vue, and all the other eleventy thousand JS/TS frameworks. I just don't like pulling in that much code I don't have familiarity with. But, you'll never hurt your value on the job market or ability to work on a lot of OSS projects by learning more JavaScript/TypeScript.
