Well, I installed Gentoo by heart and with divine inspiration, and consulting some things on the wiki. Such as the names of the graphics drivers, the name of the kernel package, how to modify the DNS.
In other words, I didn't spend more than 5 or 10 minutes reading. And I didn't copy or paste anything, except a config for the inittab and a snipet of code for .bashrc for starting a graphical session.
Although, I think I could have done it better, I hadn't done it for 3 year the instalation.
