There's an entire theory with a bunch of adherents that around 300 years of history and the entire historical figure of Charlemagne was fabricated and it is entirely based on a misunderstanding of the conversion from Julian to Gregorian calendar that can be corrected by a simple Google search. It is completely defeated by that Google search, the existence of Belgium, and Halley's comet witness records worldwide.
