Even now, if you told people the government is going to install surveillance cameras and audio recorders in their homes, people would riot in the street. But if you tell them they can play video games on the device, they'll line up outside the store in tents for a week in the middle of winter to spend their entire month's wage so they can be first to get one. And they'll even take it into the bathroom and bedroom without fail. I used to tell this as a joke, but sadly, it's just a fact now.
