It's just one story of thousands, but reading it made my blood boil: https://www.cnn.com/2024/05/12/middleeast/palestinian-young-amputees-us-intl/index.html
As Israel invaded Gaza, their tanks fired upon a building with a teenage girl living inside it; the building crushed her leg and her family had to amputate it with a knife. The Israelis didn't allow any medical care in or out for four days, so she just writhed in unimaginable pain the whole time.
There is no way in hell that what is happening in Gaza isn't a genocide.
But I just can't picture enduring the endless stream of traumas that the Gazan people are experiencing right now and ever forgiving the Israeli leadership, military, or even its people.
No doubt, this has left whole new generations of Gazans so scarred that they will hold that anger in their hearts forever. No doubt, Israel will use that anger to call them "terrorists" and heap ever more atrocities upon them, as though it was justified.
It's all just so fucking inexcusable.
