soaproot@williampietri I mostly knew him from Square (when I worked there, before he caught his case of the bitcoins). Although it is hard to say for sure I wasn't missing something even then, it seemed better. For one thing I had a lot of respect for most of the executives he hired and he seemed to stay out of the way and let them do their jobs (as far as I could tell anyway).
