BtrinenWhen I quit working for Amazon in 2011 the HR person tried to get me to sign a non-compete agreement in the exit interview because “due to a loophole you never signed yours”. The ‘Loophole’ was that I was originally hired as a customer service agent in 1999 and was not required to sign one, and when I moved into corporate job a year later they never presented me with one. Needless to say, I told them to get bent.
