So it really feels like Jerry Seinfeld *wishes* that people were offended by him, when in fact, no one younger than 40 is paying him any mind and no one can be bothered to be mad at someone so irrelevant.

I'm not saying Seinfeld was a bad show—it's just hopelessly irrelevant to people today, as is true of many old shows, especially comedies.
