the flop side of this is that social media gives every woman the illusion of being far more valuable than she is. every woman has 1-2-3-20 beta orbiters in her DMs and comment sections telling her she’s beautiful. in reality, man but not all of those men would pump and dump her, and the rest wouldn’t do that.

additionally, the woman may say “i could get any man” etc etc but in reality it takes a year or more between couplings, and a marriage can’t really happen faster than about two years in and two years out; and a woman only has about 25-30 years of production. so even if she could get any of them, she can only sire for a few.

this is the illusion of choice.

men have suffered in a similar way but in reverse. we are bombarded with no-context sexual images day and night for free. it warps our view of the world and of ourselves. men will overrate themselves and think they are entitled to a more-sexual woman, or even a harem.

This has a name but I forget it.

we also develop sexual dysfunction at scary-young ages because our dopamine receptors are blown out.
