    I'm pretty sure one additional factor is that I live in Poland but my client is in Germany. They pay me more or less what they would pay to an on-site tester - which is fine because for Poland that's still a lot of money.

    There seems to be a growing awareness out there that hiring people from Poland is a good deal.
