In the background is a cloud formation with sunlight beaming through on all shades of orange, fading into pink and the to purple. The spot where the dune shines through the brightness is on the left top of the photo. This allows for a larger amount of sky in the image.  Just above the center of the frame is the brightest portion of the sunlight. This was an attempt to be more scenic with the brightest part of the sky in the top right. There are trees in the foreground both far right and far left. Left is a pine tree and right is a naked white oak. The image hosts a thin line of the lake, far shoreline with its trees, and the sky. The brightest spot is just right and down from center.
