I just learned that my son's best friend, 25yo, is going to die. He doesn't have 6 months.
He's dying of renal disease because this country is ok with people dying because they have no money, no insurance, no family, nothing. But hey, oh well right? He can't get a transplant because dialysis costs a lot and a transplant even more and even if he could neither are guaranteed and he could still die before he could get a transplant.
I'm crushed.
