#EXO friends: what do you think is the real story behind Lay & Z.Tao leaving?

I've seen some official-ish explanations, but they seem vague & weak.

(I became a fan of both Lay & Z.Tao as solo artists before really becoming aware of EXO. Then I kept looking for them both whenever I'd watch an EXO performance, & didn't find them, & was confused.)
