The Columbia University student protest is sucking up too much of the oxygen and discourse.

It has become a convenient excuse for pro-Israeli politicians and news orgs to redirect questions about their support for genocide and the on-going horrors being revealed in both Gaza and the West Bank by making it about the US and the never ending culture wars instead.

NYTimes website today is plastered with articles about the protest and 'antisemitism on campus' but not a single article on the mass grave that is still being excavated at Nasser medical complex in Gaza. That's no accident.
