I want nobody for president. I want nobody for congress. I want nobody to be the commander-in- chief because there is nothing left to command. I want nobody for president and nobody for vice-president, and nobody for speaker of the house. I want no more supreme court nominations because there is no supreme court. I want neither of two evils; I want the fall of empire, I want nobody to deliver a state of the union address because there is no more union to address. I want no more decisions on who is allowed to cross the border because there is no border. I want no more one-term, two-term, or any-term presidents. I want no work on election day so I can go on a walk and make dinner for a friend. I want no more elections. I want no more power-hungry senators and no more career congressmen because the house of representatives is housing three families and the floor of the senate is covered in playground chalk. T want no more policies and no more bills and no more legislation and no more amendments and I want to roll a spliff with the constitution and pass it around. And I want us to know that this is possible. I want us to know that somewhere down the line 'the president’ was made and can be unmade, that each ‘election’ serves only to restrain our imagination, that everything is in reach, that somewhere is now, and a world without is aching to blossom.
