worked for vivid as unix admin in the 00s. they threw release parties at strip clubs. i happened to go to a party. started hanging out there regularly after getting to know the owner. they had good food, cheap drinks, good mdma and cocaine and it was always cold af. good place to get work done and i didn't pay cover. id say it was optimal.
